Pisces 2013 Horoscope

For Pisces, 2013 is the start of a wondrous journey. Neptune, the planet of fantasy and dreams, has just entered the Pisces sign and will travel through it in the coming years, not leaving until 2026. That's exactly the kind of inspiration Pisces thrives on.

     What Neptune represents is so much in accord with the nature of Pisces, the planet is said to rule in this Zodiac sign. Pisces is a dreamer at heart, a seeker beyond what's palpable and predictable. Neptune is the force opening up the fantastic - dreams, visions, fantasies flowing without limitations.

     So, whatever else happens in the life of Pisces, 2013 and the following 13 years will have a fantastic quality to them, spreading its scent like perfume spilled on the skin. Life is enriched in a charming way, because Pisces' mind is exploring its own wondrous creativity.

Neptune's Journey Through Pisces

Although every Pisces is affected, the slow journey of Neptune through the sign will intensify the experience for those with the sun close to its position at each part of that journey.

     In 2013 the planet is in the beginning of the sign, so those Pisces born in February feel it the most. In another few years its influence will be the strongest on those born in the beginning of March, and finally, in the last few years of the Neptune journey through Pisces, those born in the middle of March are rewarded.

     Still, as said above, every Pisces feels it all through, because Neptune in Pisces is indeed a perfect match.

     In the 2013 New Year horoscope, Neptune in Pisces has only one aspect angle to another planet - a sextile to Mercury in Capricorn. That will pass quickly, since Mercury moves rather rapidly through the Zodiac, but the effect of this aspect will still be noticed all 2013 through.

     Mercury in Capricorn signals an ambitious development of how we communicate. Communication is how we exchange what goes on in our minds, so it's the method by which our dreams and fantasies manifest outside ourselves. Therefore, of course these two processes encourage and inspire one another. Pisces is eager to increase communication in order to present and discuss what fantastic stuff the mind produces.

Aspects to Pisces

Although Neptune has no more aspects, Pisces as a whole is aspected to planets in some other signs.

     Saturn and the Moon Node in Scorpio have a trine aspect relation to Pisces. In the 2013 World horoscope, they indicate the increased disorder, if not to say chaos, in the world economy. Established order seems to malfunction and lose control. That's cause for concern, but to Pisces it also creates openings for new solutions and different perspectives on what we should hope for.

     Of course, a shivering economy can be costly also to Pisces, but usually Pisces is prepared for sacrifice. Others tend to be struck harder, simply because they have a harder time accepting and adapting to less secure circumstances.

     Pisces also has a trine to the World horoscope Medium Coeli in Cancer. That's not just true for 2013, but for every year as long as we stick to the present calendar.

     Medium Coeli shows that our present societies, especially its leaders, strive to work for the common good, for a civilization in which the weak are protected and everyone is taken care of. It's not always the case, but it's how leaders and governments would like to see themselves.

     Pisces, who is the first to offer assistance even at high personal cost, can indeed agree with that aspiration. To Pisces, that's how everyone should live - eager to do good for others and not just strive for personal benefit.

     Pisces also has two square aspects in the 2013 horoscope. One is to Venus is Sagittarius, indicating that change comes very easy to present society. People change their lives and move to distant places, without much trouble.

     But Pisces worries that this will alienate friends and break bonds that have deep emotional significance. If people spread, they may become strangers to one another. So, it's not the kind of change Pisces prefers.

     The other 2013 square is to Jupiter in Gemini, sort of saying the same as Venus. Jupiter stimulates expansion, and in Gemini this means new ways of communicating, new ways of keeping in touch with much more people than ever before.

     Again, Pisces sees the risk of this alienating people. Communication where quantity is chosen before quality leads to superficiality. We may get to know a lot of more people, but we know them less than we did with the few we had around us before.

     Pisces prefers strong bonds, even if that means fewer of them.

     There's also a sextile aspect to two more planets in Capricorn than already mentioned Mercury. Those are Pluto and the sun (in the horoscope, the sun is regarded as comparable to the planets), which are in conjunction.

     That's a very important cluster in the 2013 New Year horoscope. It indicates drastic changes in how society is structured and operates, especially when it comes to how homes and families are organized. We will see new structures replacing the old ones, a process that started a few years back, but intensifying in 2013.

     Pisces generally finds this positive, since it opens possibilities to adjust one's life - and that of one's family - more in line with what the feelings dictate. The restructuring might open for skipping formality and arranging one's private life according to wishes and longings. Or not.

     It's in the open, and the outcome is hard to predict. But Pisces has hope.

     Summing it up, what stands out for Pisces in 2013 - and the coming years - is definitely the Neptune passage through the sign, inspiring fantasies and dreams of exceptional richness, and still igniting hope of making them come true.
